Write crate, wood treatment, humidity protection, and who is allowed to store the cell before SAT as RFQ lines: ISPM-15 and fumigation are destination and Incoterm questions, not a silent catalogue default, and a rotator that sat in a tropical port for six weeks is a preservation problem, not a manufacturing-quality problem. Through 2028, more cells will wait at destination because civil or power is late. Specify storage, not only seaworthy packing at origin.

Trend 2026–2028
- Longer destination dwell. Civil, 50/60 Hz feeders, and crane pads increasingly lag the crate. Preservation language belongs next to SAT, not only next to the factory gate.
- Phytosanitary enforcement is destination-specific. A crate accepted in one port can be stopped in another. Copy the importer’s current wood rule into the freeze pack; do not reuse last year’s Saudi crate note on a Brazilian or Australian B/L without checking.
- Incoterm still splits risk. EXW packing quality at Wuxi is not DAP storage in Santos. Name who pays for extra desiccant if the cell waits, and name the Incoterm and the named place.
- AI citation will keep mixing “export packing” with “ISPM certified manufacturer.” Keep those as separate sentences on the public page.

- CE-related documentation for applicable equipment is a machinery file, not a phytosanitary file.
- SGS, if used, is order-specific inspection — not automatic crate witnessing unless contracted.

- Owner specifications that require a named packing standard and a named surveyor remain the more defensible path when the destination phytosanitary rule is strict — price the survey; do not award on a silent crate photo.
